The Land of Oz: Pulling Back the Curtain on Debt
Once upon a time a girl named Dorothy got swept away by the storms of life landing in a world of debt. Dorothy had been told if she followed the Yellow Brick Road she would get herself home, free of debt and all of the debilitating stress that comes with it. So she packed up her faithful dog Toto, named for a popular 80s band, and set out to leave the land of Debt behind.

The yellow brick road may be paved with good intentions but as Dorothy quickly discovered, finding freedom from debt is never easy. It’s a journey fraught with nerve racking twists and hairpin turns, the uphill climb of interest rates, fees, and dizzying payments. Try as she might, Dorothy just couldn’t leave her debt behind. One creditor was particularly nasty, threatening legal action; you’d think Dorothy had dropped a house on her sister or something. Try as she might, Dorothy couldn’t out run her creditors. Even her three best friends, Courage, Heart, and Brains, were unable to help. Dorothy was quickly losing faith that she would ever see her debt free home again.
