Smaller communities in the town include Alton, Belfountain, Boston Mills, Caledon East, Castlederg, Cedar Mills, Cheltenham, Forks of the Credit, Inglewood, Mayfield, Mono Mills, New Glasgow, Palgrave, Snelgrove, Terra Cottam and Victoria. Maclean's magazine has named Caledon as the safest town in Canada to live in two years in a row.
