Community Involvement

We care about the Communities we serve

4 Pillars is a dynamic Canadian-owned company that serves the communities we live in. As part of our ongoing involvement to give back to the community we work with a number of non profit organizations to share our wealth of knowledge and experience. Financial Literacy workshops are educating Canadians to make informed decisions that directly affect their long term financial stability.

EmpowerU Initiative

EmpowerU is one of the most comprehensive financial literacy initiatives in Canada.

In 2009, 4 Pillars started working with the City of Edmonton to build a new model for funding financial literacy programs operated by non profit organizations.

By 2011, the Alberta Asset Building Collaborative (www.ababc.ca), a network of non-profit, business and government representatives, committed to advancing and building the financial literacy and asset development work in the Alberta Capital Region.

If you are interested in learning more or want to implement a similar program into your community please email Troy Tisserand directly at troyt@4pillars.ca.

4 Pillars is proud to be involved in many Financial Literacy initiatives that support non profit organizations to reduce poverty, create better opportunities for our children, and support our communities. Here is a list of some of the organizations we partner with to deliver financial literacy. We have provided links to their websites if you want to learn more information on them.

4 Pillars is a strong supporter of community based Financial Literacy programs that bring a greater awareness for the need to develop stronger debt, credit and budgeting skills. We volunteer our time to help others that are struggling with poverty related financial barriers that affect our community.

Currently, we deliver class room style presentations on debt, credit and budgeting related materials. For more information contact Troy Tisserand directly at troyt@4pillars.ca.
